Doors open for the annual business meeting of FRCC starting at 5:00 p.m. with the business meeting beginning at 5:45, followed by our very special guest speaker Nancy Kartes.  Nancy, with the City of Bellevue, WA manages the relationship with the Bellevue Botanical Garden Society, a nonprofit that provides educational programing, hosts events and raises funds on behalf of the Bellevue Botanical Garden.  

Nancy will offer us insight into the needs of small public gardens and experience in community building, public/private governance and identifying and leveraging diverse resources. She has a special interest in encouraging young people and emerging professionals toward careers in public garden administration and leadership.  

Location: Lakewood Center for the Arts, 368 S State St, Lake Oswego 97034.   Ample parking in the lot at the rear of the building.
